<p>Glitter, guitars and gravity-defying acrobatics? Yep, <a href="https://www.rocknrollcircus.co.uk/norwich" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rock N Roll Circus</a> is rolling back into <strong>Earlham Park</strong> for round two &#8211; and it’s bigger, brasher and bolder than ever. After a stonking debut last summer, the festival returns from <strong>Thu 20 – Sun 23 Aug 2026</strong> with an extra day, <em>huge</em> headline acts and enough indie nostalgia to send every former NME reader into a spin. Honestly, somebody dust off the skinny jeans.</p>

<p>Equal parts music festival and circus spectacular, this is not your standard warm-cider-and-queue-for-the-loos situation. Expect massive live acts, jaw-dropping performances, immersive entertainment and serious main-character energy all day, <em>every</em> day. Here’s why we’re already mentally planning our outfits (and listening to a Noughties mega-mix playlist on repeat).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE LINE-UP IS ELITE</h2>

<p>If your Spotify Wrapped still thinks it’s 2006, congratulations &#8211; this line-up is basically built for you. Kicking things off on the Thursday we have Girlband!, The K’s, Seb Lowe and The Molotovs all supporting the phenomenal Razorlight and headliners James &#8211; we know, talk about a full-speed indie revival. </p>



<p>The Streets headline Friday night, with Mike Skinner performing&nbsp;<em>A Grand Don’t Come For Free</em>&nbsp;in full for the very first time &#8211; which means Norwich will almost certainly become one giant karaoke session. Dry your eyes, babes.</p>

<p>Saturday belongs to indie royalty The Kooks, joined by The Vaccines and The Fratellis for what promises to be an absolutely massive night of skinny-jean nostalgia and shouty choruses. Cruz Beckham and The Breakers will also be performing so keep your eyes peeled for sightings of Posh and Becks!</p>

<p>Then on Sunday, Madness bring the ska-pop party with support from Ocean Colour Scene, The Wailers, The Selecter and DJ legend David Rodigan. Expect dancing. Lots of dancing. </p>



<p>And <em>that</em>, is how you end a festival on a high.</p>

<p>Sure, the music line-up is enough to get us reaching for the denim cut-offs and eyeliner alone &#8211; but what really makes Rock N Roll Circus stand out is the full-blown spectacle happening around it.</p>



<p>We’re talking aerialists soaring above the crowds, fire performers doing things that definitely shouldn’t be attempted at home, highwire artists, contortionists, trapeze acts, stilt walkers and acrobats casually defying gravity between sets. It’s immersive, theatrical and you&#8217;ll never quite believe your eyes.</p>

<p>The circus crew from Circus Antics basically transform Earlham Park into a giant grown-up playground, with pop-up performances happening all across the site and inside the famous Big Top.</p>



<p>And it’s not just for watching either. Feeling inspired after your third pint and a singalong to&nbsp;<em>Naive</em>? Festival-goers can have a go themselves at drop-in circus skills workshops, with juggling, hula hoops, diablos, flower sticks and more on offer. </p>

<p>Surprisingly wholesome for a festival soundtracked by our teenage years, Rock N Roll Circus is also super family-friendly, with circus workshops, interactive entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it ideal for first-time festival-goers too.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THERE’S AN EXTRA DAY THIS YEAR</h2>



<p>And because three days of partying wasn’t enough last year, 2026 gets an extra day added to the schedule. Whoop. Which means more music, more circus wizardry, more street food and more opportunities to pretend you’re still capable of surviving multiple late nights in a row. (Ibuprofen at the ready).</p>

<p>Potentially our favourite part? No tragic tent poles. No damp sleeping bags. No attempting a wet wipe shower while questioning your life choices. Rock N Roll Circus delivers all the atmosphere of a major UK festival while still allowing us the sweet luxury of sleeping in our own beds afterwards. Civilised festivaling? We’re very much into it.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE FOOD &amp; DRINK GAME IS STRONG</h2>



<p>Festival food has seriously levelled up in recent years, and Rock N Roll Circus is fully on board. Expect a curated food and drink village packed with street food traders, cocktails, local pours and all the carby goodness required to sustain a full day of dancing to songs you definitely had on your iPod Mini.</p>
