Whether you&#8217;re ready to unleash your inner ace on the tennis court, curious about the padel craze that&#8217;s taken over Europe or fancy seeing what all the pickleball fuss is about, here are the best places in Norfolk to get your game on.</p>

<p>The club with arguably the best name in Norfolk, Blazing Padels is the place to get your padel fix west of Norwich. Housed in a converted cowshed (because, well, this&nbsp;<em>is</em>&nbsp;Norfolk), the venue has two indoor courts, meaning the weather doesn&#8217;t get to call the shots. Off court you&#8217;ll find <a href="https://www.blazingpadels.com/herbies" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Herbie&#8217;s Cafe</a> for a post-match caffeine hit, smart changing rooms and even a free table tennis table to keep competitive spirits alive while you wait you wait for a court.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Once synonymous with squash, Heywood has embraced the racket-sport renaissance with two floodlit outdoor padel courts joining its refurbished tennis courts. Fancy mixing things up? You can also book one of the three squash courts before heading to the gym, golf range or five-a-side pitches. Basically, if it involves a ball and getting competitive, they&#8217;ve probably got it covered.</p>

Make a day of it by exploring the estate&#8217;s peaceful woodland trails afterwards before settling into The Stables, where seasonal local produce and a well-earned lunch are all part of the experience. <p>Quite possibly the most picturesque place on this list, Fritton Lake combines tennis and pickleball with one of the dreamiest settings in East Anglia. Nestled within a 1,000-acre rewilding project on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, it&#8217;s more of a countryside escape than a sports club, the catch being you need to either be a member, own a cabin or be staying as a guest to play. Worth it, if you ask us.</p>
