<p>Get ready to dance on the ceiling all night long because it has just been announced that, drum roll please&#8230; <a href="https://www.heritagelive.net/whats-on/lionel-richie" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lionel Ritchie</a> *coughs* plus special guests will be performing at <strong>Sandringham</strong> on <strong>Thur 20 Aug</strong>! The exclusive performance is part of <a href="https://www.heritagelive.net" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Heritage Live</a>&#8216;s series of concerts at the royal estate which has already confirmed <a href="https://www.heritagelive.net/whats-on/eric-clapton" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Eric Clapton</a> (plays guests Ronnie Wood, Andy Fairweather Low &amp; The Low Riders and Will Wilde) on <strong>Sun 23 Aug</strong>, setting up another iconic year of shows &#8211; to be fair 2025&#8217;s roster of Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey was always going to be tough to be beat, but so far so nailing it. <p>Houghton Hall isn&#8217;t yet open to the public but it has already announced two exciting events. First the annual art exhibition, always a showstopper and this year is no exception with a major retrospective of the celebrated post-war artist, <a href="https://www.houghtonhall.com/whats-on/lynn-chadwick-at-houghton-hall" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lynn Chadwick</a>. Opening on <strong>Sat 2 May</strong>, the exhibit will showcase previously unseen and rarely exhibited works throughout the house and gardens, forming the largest presentation of Chadwick&#8217;s work since his death in 2003. And secondly something rather exciting for all you horticulturists out there, new this year Houghton will host its first <a href="https://www.houghtonhall.com/whats-on/tulips-at-houghton" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">tulip festival</a>. Planned in collaboration with leading bulb specialists Peter Nyssen, the planting of hundreds of tulips will transform the award-winning five-acre Walled Garden into a joyous celebration of spring colour from <strong>Sat 11 Apr</strong>. </p>

<p>Some very exciting news for foodies this way comes. Award-winning entrepreneur, Alex Clare, is set to shake up the local scene with the launch of <a href="https://edgedining.com/edge-noko" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">EDGE//NOKO</a>, a swanky new all-in-one lifestyle destination in <strong>Ringsfield</strong>. Blending a café, farm shop and restaurant (with luxury lodges landing later this summer), this ambitious new spot is all about bringing together great food, community and a touch of escapism. </p>

<p>The café will be open seven days a week from <strong>Mon 30 Mar</strong>, offering a relaxed, family-friendly space to refuel and recharge before storming the farm shop. And the restaurant and bar will be open weekly <strong>Thu &#8211; Sat, from 2 Apr</strong> (just in time for the Easter break, just saying). <p>And over in North Norfolk, award-winning sommelier Bert Blaize is opening a restaurant. <a href="https://chandlerywells.co.uk/?utm_source=ig&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_content=link_in_bio&amp;fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMjU2MjgxMDQwNTU4AAGn4eGC_rhRaNlgmkkvS8A36R0QGSqiITLHbkjiOd_JjWhMPfJ9dfFiiJHke2c_aem_yhugD7cvoeiAelXk_mxAAQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Chandlery</a>, in the same building as his wine bar <a href="https://nnc.wine" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">North Norfolk Cellars</a>, is set to open in May. A collaboration between himself and up-and-coming local chef, Harry Williams, the Chandlery will be a produce-led restaurant championing the wealth of local ingredients the county has to offer. Paired with Bert&#8217;s wine selections &#8211; this sounds like a match made in heaven.
