<p>Starting a summer of rip-roaring variety shows, the all-singing all-dancing <em><a href="https://cromer.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873639821/events/128491115" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cromer Pier Show</a></em>&nbsp;is back with a bang! Kicking off this <strong>Sat 29 Jun</strong> until the end of September, we’re told to expect West End production values, special effects, dazzling costumes and powerhouse vocals. Funny man Phil Reid has this year’s hosting duties with the likes of <em>Britain&#8217;s Got Talent </em>finalist Steve Royle, magician John Archer and comic Kev Orkian among the guest acts.</p>

<p>Zooming over to west Norfolk, the massive (and free!)&nbsp;<a href="https://www.festivaltoo.co.uk/?fbclid=IwAR1hEDUQPXXEviFRJb8sRw06yZGO_7L0JM7SvPXMyy5sKTTmcY8PU8F6cEM" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Festival Too</a>&nbsp;is back&nbsp;in<strong>&nbsp;King’s Lynn</strong>&nbsp;and kicks off this&nbsp;<strong>Sat 29 Jun – Sat 13 Jul.&nbsp;</strong>The musical extravaganza totally transforms the town and sees some very famous names take to the stage for a fortnight of entertainment, street activities and fireworks. This year’s line-up includes Sigala (above), Ocean Colour Scene, The Boo Radleys and 90s heartthrobs 911 &#8211; can we get a whoop whoop!</p>

We caught up with him earlier in the month where he revealed what to expect from the show as well as some juicy intel on Elton John&#8217;s legendary parties &#8211; <a href="https://norfolk.muddystilettos.co.uk/life/people/muddy-meets-80s-icon-nik-kershaw/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">have a read</a> then nab yourself a ticket. </p>

<p>Prefer pop? <a href="https://www.forestlive.com/ollymurs"><strong>Olly Murs</strong> and <strong>Daniel Bedingfield</strong></a> are closing what has been a sensational <a href="https://www.forestlive.com/highlodgethetfordforest" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forest Live</a> this year (Sting, Tom Jones, Bryan Adams <em>and </em>Paloma Faith have already performed). They&#8217;ll be taking to the stage on both <strong>Sat 29 and Sun 30 Jun</strong> &#8211; grab your cool box, picnic hamper, camping chairs, mozzie spray and head to <strong>High Lodge</strong>.</p>

Expect stalls on stalls on stalls of lovely local goodness from the likes of Norfolk Rum, Doodle Donuts and Fryers Pies. <p>This weekend sees the launch of a new exhibit at <a href="https://www.norwichcastle.norfolk.gov.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Norwich Castle and Museum</a> which celebrates the work of local artist and printmaker, <a href="https://www.norwichcastle.norfolk.gov.uk/article/59890/Catherine-Maude-Nichols-Making-her-Mark" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Catherine Maude Nichols</a> (1847-1923). Relatively unknown, in <em>Making Her Mark</em>, you&#8217;ll learn all about this fierce, feminist icon as well as marvel at over 135 of her paintings, watercolours, drawings and prints &#8211; the drypoint etchings are particularly impressive.</p>

<p>Tea for two, please!&nbsp;<a href="https://www.plantationgarden.co.uk/events/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Plantation Garden Afternoon Teas</a>&nbsp;have returned to the fine city of Norwich. Homemade bakes and bottomless tea all while being serenaded by local musicians &#8211; with the weather set to be another stunner, we can&#8217;t think of a better place to enjoy a lazy, sunny afternoon.</p>

<p>Not one but two fabulous productions take their final bows this Saturday: Willy Russell’s comedic heroine&nbsp;<em><a href="https://sheringhamlittletheatre.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/1173652364" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Shirley Valentine</a></em> at <strong>Sheringham Little Theatre</strong>, and West End smash&nbsp;<a href="https://norwichtheatre.org/whats-on/everybodys-talking-about-jamie/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>Everybody’s Talking About</em>&nbsp;<em>Jamie</em></a> at <strong>Norwich Theatre Royal</strong>. We&#8217;re thinking a matinee walk down memory lane with Shirley followed by an evening with Jamie (and <em>Strictly</em>&#8216;s Kevin Clifton who is also starring).</p>
