<p>Forget everything you think you know about wine events. <a href="https://www.norwichwineweek.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Norwich Wine Week</a> (<strong>Fri 19 &#8211; Sun 28 June</strong>) isn&#8217;t just for people who can identify notes of gooseberry and wet slate on a blind tasting. Over ten days, venues across the city will be hosting tastings, food pairings, wine flights and special events designed for everyone from curious beginners to bona fide oenophiles.</p>



<p>Whether you&#8217;re looking to discover a new favourite bottle, learn from the experts or simply enjoy a very good excuse to catch up with friends over a glass (or three), there&#8217;s plenty to raise a toast to. Here are five events that caught our eye.</p>

<p>Wine tasting while playing golf? Not a combination we saw coming, but we&#8217;re very glad someone thought of it. This <a href="https://yourgolfbooking.com/venues/city-greens-norwich/booking" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">two-hour hosted experience</a> pairs social golf with a guided tasting of four to five wines, making it ideal for groups looking to do something a little different. Whether you&#8217;re a seasoned golfer or simply in it for the Sauvignon Blanc, expect a relaxed, sociable atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to discover a new favourite tipple.</p>
