Bug-themed fun, Intu Chapelfield, Norwich, until Fri 27th September

Don’t miss out on the 12 supersized bugs invading intu Chapelfield!

The dozen giant indigenous bug sculptures, including a honeybee, ladybird, hornet and butterfly, will create an exciting family trail through the centre, visitors can catch the Big Bug Tour until Saturday 28 September. Kids can learn more about mini-beasts by chatting to the creepy crawlies over text message, using the special phone number located on each bug around the centre. The bugs will respond with questions and interesting facts about themselves.

Sheringham Little Theatre presents Goodnight Mister Tom, one of the most uplifting stories ever written! This classic story is brought gloriously to life in this stage adaptation by David Wood, and will have you crying, awwwing and feeling all cosy inside.

Charity Gala Dinner, Holkham Hall Estate, Sat 21st September

Holkham Hall are hosting a charity gala dinner for the East Anglian children’s hospices. It’s a black tie event, with a 3 course meal, live music, photographers and more – so dust off the glad rags and enjoy a night of glamour for a great cause.

Walking for the Glaven, Blakeney, Sat 21st September

The Glaven Centre in Blakeney are having three fundraising walks across Glaven valley this month. The walks are to raise money for the centre, which provides a local luncheon club, care and companionship for the elderly. Ranging from 10k for serious walkers, through to a toddle up the road for families with young children. There’ll also be opportunities to splash in the ford, feed the ducks and visit The Shell Museum along the way!

Felix Simpson, The Lodge Hunstanton, Sat 21st September

Head up to the coast and enjoy a night of live music from Norfolk acoustic singer & songwriter Felix Simpson at The Lodge in Old Hunstanton.
