Lisa Angel x Carly Rowena

We love Lisa Angel and I’m super excited to see that she is collaborating with Fitness Coach and blogger Carly Rowena and launching a new range entitled ‘Move your Mind’.

The capsule collection consists of eight pieces (four necklaces, a bracelet and three earring sets) to combine, layer and personalise. In store and online from Thursday 12 September.

In the mood for romance?

This might just be the most romantic stay in Norfolk. Sleep in the iconic Grade 1 listed ‘Truimphal Arch’ on the Holkham Estate which has been given a beautifully stylish makeover by Lady Leicester and interior designer Johanna Tennant. The draped four poster bed is very much the focal point and as you lie in bed, you can see all the way along the South Avenue leading to the Obelisk and the Hall.

Virtuously Vegan

Norwich has been named the most Vegan friendly city in the UK and although I’m not quite ready to go the full hog (pun intended), I was more than happy to pop along to Barnham Broom for a guilt free Vegan Spa and Afternoon Tea (£75). I love this creative new addition to Barnham Broom’s Spa packages using the lovely Ytsara products from Thailand. Full review coming to the site very soon.

Taxi please!

Fancy a ride home in one of these? For the car enthusiasts amongst us – it’s a rare 1950 Bentley Mark 6, left hand drive convertible, with a Park Ward body. Nah – I’m just picturing myself with a head scarf aka Lady Penelope!

The Maids Head Hotel (the UK’s oldest hotel) has two classic cars available for chauffer driven trips around the city, VIP experiences and wedding hire.

Not just any bar ……

That’s right, this is an M&S bar and Norwich is the first in the country to get one – yey us! Cafe by day and wine bar by night (5-8pm) – mmmm suddenly late night shopping has got much more appealing. Who needs new school shirts???

New move for Hairsmiths

Deb Dominic has brought her creative flair to No. 33 Timberhill – the new premises for her label.m salon Hairsmiths. If you’re looking for a new salon, this place is right up our street, with an awesome technical team of stylists and colourists – check out their instagram feed! Tel: 01603 305555

The Last but certainly not the least!

The Last is one of those iconic Norwich bars that has been a part of my personal changing social scene for years. So pleased they have ditched the staid fine dine restaurant and turned it into a much more fun and vibrant bistro. Open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus – you can now dine alfresco on St George’s Street.
