<p>We hope you&#8217;ve been practising your curtsey, as HRH&#8217;s Prince William and Kate were spotted in Holt institution, <a href="https://www.bakersandlarners.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bakers &amp; Larners</a> recently stocking up on local goodies. The ninth-generation, family-run department store&nbsp;welcomed the couple who have been staying at Sandringham while Kate recovers from cancer treatment. Though Muddy doesn&#8217;t know exactly what was on the shopping list, if they are anything like us, they couldn&#8217;t possibly have left without swinging by the chocolate counter. </p>

<p>It&#8217;s all going on in Holt. If a visit from Royalty wasn&#8217;t enough, there are some fab new additions to the high street. First up, <a href="https://www.paulwilkinscreative.com/#/paul-wilkins-creative-showroom/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beauty by Paul Wilkins Creative</a> has cleared some shelf space for luxury skincare brand, <a href="https://www.anokhaskincare.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">anokha</a>. The exclusive line of natural products is the brainchild of renowned plastic surgeon, Dr Nina Naidu, who wanted the results of clinical treatments but without the harsh ingredients. The result, a sustainable, natural, cruelty-free brand (which smells delicious by the way) which works wonders on the crows feet. Anokha products are pretty hard to come by in the UK, with Paul Wilkins joining only one other stockist in the country. </p>



<p>Next up, Norfolk&#8217;s very own Willy Wonka, Gary Hunter, has laid down roots in Holt&#8217;s Market Place, opening up his first shop selling his famous artisanal choccies. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/reel/379592687884999">Hunters of Holt</a> joins his expanding culinary empire – <a href="https://norfolk.muddystilettos.co.uk/little-black-book/directory/hunters-academy-of-food-helhoughton/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hunters Academy of Food</a> and&nbsp;Hunters B&amp;B –&nbsp;and will sell all sorts of chocolatey delights (espresso caramel and Tia Maria chocs for the win) as well as gifts and cookware. If the trays on trays on trays of chocolate weren&#8217;t reason enough to pay them a visit, the swanky chandelier and fancy wallpaper is certainly worth a nosey.</p>

<p>Vino with a view? Exactly the thought behind <a href="https://www.instagram.com/northnorfolkcellars/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">North Norfolk Wine Cellars</a>, the latest venture from award-winning sommelier, Bert Blaize – a moment of appreciation for that name please. Situated on the picture perfect Wells Quay, in the former Chandlery building, the wine bar and bottle shop will be home to a carefully curated selection of specialist wines from regional (hello <a href="https://flintvineyard.com">Flint</a>) and national producers, and with Michelin starred creds like a stint at Le Manoir and La Bell Epoque on his CV, you know you&#8217;re in for a treat. Launching this weekend (<strong>Sat 15 Jun</strong>), pop along for a quaffable celebration with Brancaster Gin and Burn Valley Vineyard who are among the guests. </p>

<p>Namaste this way as a new yoga studio is coming to Norwich! Local yogi<a href="https://www.instagram.com/yogaroompodcast/">, Abby Hoffmann</a> has announced she is opening her very own boutique hot yoga barre and pilates studio this year and we&#8217;re already limbering up. Yantra Studio will be stretching into the city&#8217;s historic Queen Anne Quarter, in a stunning open plan number on King Street come September, watch <a href="https://www.instagram.com/yogaroompodcast/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">this space</a> for updates and more info.</p>



<p>Another one for your diary – swoonworthy homeware curators and local interiors design company, <a href="https://norfolkluxuryfurniture.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Norfolk Luxury Furniture</a>, is *finally* opening up a bricks and mortar store at <a href="https://www.instagram.com/blackbarnfarmsalhouse/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Black Barn Farm</a> in Salhouse later this year. The owner, Laura Ruddy &#8211; wife of former Canaries goalie John Ruddy – has been adding the wow factors to homes around the county with her handpicked selection of furniture and furnishings online since 2022 so we are super excited to see everything in the flesh. Muddy will keep you informed as to the exact opening date, in the mean time, start clearing space in your home.</p>

<p>Always found it a struggle to leave <a href="https://pensthorpe.com">Pensthorpe Nature Reserve</a> with its gorgeous gardens, fabulous flamingos and wild walks? Well, soon you won&#8217;t have to. From July, the award-winning reserve is opening a glamping site for the summer season (above). <p>We love an al fresco feast at Muddy so we are super excited for the launch of <a href="https://raynham.co.uk/the-copse-restaurant/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Copse</a> – a pop-up dining experience nestled within the Raynham parklands.  Set to host a number of different foodie events over the summer, the 130-cover,  space, made from wood felled on the estate will see a superb role call of local culinary talent take a turn in the kitchen. First up, George Wood (above), from the award-winning Brix and Bones in Norwich, who will be cooking four courses over flame, Fri 4 &amp; Sat 5 July. It&#8217;ll be a sellout, so book your spot, stat.</p>

<p>We know our coastline is pretty as a picture, but the Blue Flag and Seaside Awards have made it official for another year. Sheringham, Cromer and West Runton each retained their Blue Flag status, while East Runton Beach reclaimed theirs after a shock loss in 2022. While Mundesley and Sea Palling both achieved Seaside Awards&nbsp;which are presented to the best beaches in England and celebrate&nbsp;the quality and diversity of the country&#8217;s coastline &#8211; kudos.</p>
