<p>After wowing us at Thetford Forest Live earlier this year, it seems Sting can&#8217;t keep away from our neck of the woods as he has just been announced as the first headliner for next year&#8217;s <a href="https://www.latitudefestival.com/tickets/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Latitude Festival</a>. The Eighties icon will be joined by longtime collaborator and guitarist, Dominic Miller, and drummer Chris Maas who has also played with Mumford &amp; Sons and Maggie Rogers, for what will be the launch of his STING 3.0 series of shows. Tickets are on sale now for the festival which will take place from <strong>Thu 24 &#8211; Sun 27 Jul 2025</strong> at <strong>Henham Park</strong>, with more headliners set to be announced in a few weeks. Talk about a tough act to follow! </p>

<p>Speaking of <a href="https://www.forestryengland.uk/music" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Thetford Forest Live</a>, Irish pop-rockers The Script are the first band to be revealed as playing the popular summer concert series next year. The lads will take to the stage on <strong>Fri 20 Jun 2025</strong> off the back of a HUGE worldwide tour in honour of their founding member, Mark Sheehan, who sadly died last year. They will be supported by Scottish singer-songwriter, Tom Walker, with <a href="https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/high-lodge-thetford-forest-tickets/artist/5436310" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">tickets</a> on sale from <strong>10am</strong> on <strong>Sat 28 Sep</strong>, with more acts soon to be announced. We say roll on summer 2025!</p>

<p>It&#8217;s officially autumn which can only mean one thing – the return of <em>The Great British Bake Off</em>! Though we&#8217;re always partial to a Noel Fielding snigger, an unwitting Prue Leith innuendo (anyone else remember last year&#8217;s beaver cake?), a Paul Hollywood dis and, well, Alison Hammond in general, we&#8217;re tuning in with even more interest this year as local lass, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/mixing.up.motherhood/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Illiyin Morrison</a>, will be putting her Betty Crocker skills to the test in the big white tent. Not only a whizz in the kitchen, Norwich-based Illiyin is a perinatal trauma specialist midwife, debrief facilitator, mother, author <em>and</em> podcast host (we know, impressive). The new series kicks off on <strong>Tue 24 Sep</strong>. Good luck Illiyin, we&#8217;re rooting for ya!</p>

<p>After an exciting summer of dishy events at <a href="https://raynham.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Raynham Estate</a>&#8216;s newest venture, <a href="https://raynham.co.uk/the-copse-restaurant/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Copse</a>, which has seen Brix and Bones&#8217; George Wood tantalise diners over several successful supper club events, it seems the 5,000 acre estate, glamping and events space is not stopping there. They&#8217;ve recently revealed plans for a brewery and farm shop to join proceedings with the brewery and tap room scheduled to open next spring, and the farm shop following this in 2026. Exciting times ahead.</p>

<p>Raynam may have big plans but it&#8217;s all about bug plans at <a href="https://norfolk.muddystilettos.co.uk/little-black-book/directory/the-bug-parc-lenwade/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Bug Parc</a> in <strong>Lenwade</strong>. The UK&#8217;s largest invertebrate zoo is getting even bigger with land starting to be cleared for a tropical butterfly house. Expected to open next April (you can join the teams crowdfunding efforts <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DAQXa_ksiMU/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a>) the tropical butterflies will join hundreds of other miniature beasties in what is already a fab day out for kids.</p>

<p>Long time collaborators, King Charles and sustainable fashion designers VIN + OMI, (pssst their <a href="https://sandringhamestate.co.uk/events/vin-omi-from-royal-gardens-to-fashions-future/">exhibit</a> at Sandringham is the stuff of floral fashion dreams, above), have teamed up once more to create a selection of limited edition head scarves in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth. The luxe garments feature large floral patterns in sunflower yellow, dusky pink and cobalt blue similar to those worn by the late monarch and, knowing VIN + OMI, will be eco-friendly and sustainably made too. The scarves are available to buy from the <a href="https://shop.sandringhamestate.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sandringham Estate</a> shop for £85 each, but get in there quick as only 100 have been made. </p>

<p>Droolworthy interiors company and bespoke kitchen extraordinaires, <a href="http://norfolkliving.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Norfolk Living</a>, have just opened up a new shop in <strong>Burnham Market</strong> and, to be honest, we&#8217;re all set to move in! Celebrating the best that Norfolk has to offer when it comes to interiors, the dreamy store stocks gorgeous homewares, gifts and fresh produce, there&#8217;s even a cute courtyard out back. The shop is also a great opportunity to see what Norfolk Living can do with a kitchen but be warned, a visit will prompt an entire house makeover of your own.</p>

<p>Magpies will want to flock to Black Barn Farm in Salhouse come October as gorgeous local jewellery brand, <a href="https://firedrose.co.uk">Fired Rose</a>, will be opening its first store and studio. Specialising in gold and silver designs inspired by nature as well as fused, permanent jewellery (ideal if you are a serial chain-misplacer) the shop will be open daily to browse but will also offer hands-on workshops too. Very exciting and just in time for the onslaught of Christmas shopping.</p>



<p>And great news for fashion fans who can&#8217;t pop into Norwich without having a rummage round the indies and vintage shops on St Augustine&#8217;s Street, <a href="https://www.ninetythreestore.com/aboutninetythreestore" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ninety Three Store</a> is returning! After having to leave number 31 after a year, local fashion blogger and style maven, Charlotte Ogly, and her curated collection of one off pieces, accessories and homeware is back, baby, or will be soon, this time opening up at number 29.
