<p>Now is about the time that Canadian Christmas crooner, Michael Bublé, defrosts himself for the festive season. And it looks like he&#8217;ll be hanging around in Norfolk well after New Year as he&#8217;s just been confirmed as the first act to perform at Sandringham&#8217;s <a href="https://sandringhamestate.co.uk/events/heritage-live-outdoor-concerts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Heritage Live</a> in 2025! The fab series of swanky outdoors concerts on the Royal estate will be returning next August (<strong>Thu 14 &#8211; Sun 17 Aug</strong>) after a hiatus this year, and with it, the option to get your glamp on too. Bublé is set to appear on the Sunday (along with some very special guests soon to be revealed) in what will be his <em>only</em> UK gig. <a href="https://www.heritagelive.net" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tickets</a> go on sale <strong>Thu 24 Oct</strong> at <strong>9am </strong>*starts sharpening elbows in time with <em>Haven&#8217;t Met You Yet</em>*. More headliners are set to be announced over the coming weeks.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-fakenham-is-a-stage">Fakenham is a stage</h2>

<p>It&#8217;s been lights, camera and <em>all</em> the action this week in Fakenham as filming has commenced for new comedy, <em>Diamond Dogs</em>, which will be available on Netflix and Amazon Prime upon release. The series follows two criminals who reunite for one last heist, with scenes being filmed in Taylor&#8217;s Café and Benbows greengrocers. Though we&#8217;re not sure if the heist involves pinching a punnet of plums, it will be great to see some local hotspots on screen alongside Fakenham resident, Nick Elliott, who has a staring role in the series (you might recognise him from local doc, <em>2Go Mad in Norfolk</em>).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-strictly-slay">Strictly Slay</h2>

<p>He&#8217;s graced the <em>Strictly</em> dance floor, the West End stage, <em>Cabaret</em>&#8216;s Kit Kat Club and very soon, Layton Williams will be sashaying his way over to <strong>The Garage</strong> in <strong>Norwich</strong> (<strong>Sun 10 Nov</strong>). He&#8217;s just announced a series of musical theatre workshops &#8211; Slay Club &#8211; for ages 7-17 yrs and Norwich is on the hit list. Kids will get a taste of acting, singing and choreography adapted from a West End show –if you have a drama king or queen in your tribe, this class is a must. <a href="https://www.tickettailor.com/events/prosfromtheshows/1350714?" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tickets</a> cost £27.50.</p>

<p>As of <strong>Mon 28 Oct</strong>, <a href="https://www.jarrolds.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jarrolds Department Store</a> will be transformed into Santa&#8217;s Grotto. The entire second floor will host a new Christmas Market throughout November and December with stalls selling everything from handmade accessories to tasty treats making it even more of a Christmas shopping destination than usual. If <em>that</em> wasn&#8217;t enough, this year marks the launch of Jarrolds&#8217; first ever beauty advent calendar – cue excited clapping. <p>A new wellness café is set to open in the <a href="https://royalarcadenorwich.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Royal Arcade</a> in Norwich, and Muddy is already eyeing it up as a spot for that mid-Christmas shopping pick me up. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ora__norwich__/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ORA</a>, set to open imminently, will serve an assortment of nourishing goodies sure to put some pep in your step. Aside from the açai bowls, power toasties, super fruit smoothies and matcha lattes, ORA will also host regular wellness events too.</p>

These coveted accolades are awarded to those with an outstanding visitor experience. <a href="https://sandringhamestate.co.uk">Sandringham Estate</a> and <a href="https://www.holkham.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Holkham Hall</a> (above) both received a Gold award for all round excellence, the <a href="https://www.thursford.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Thursford Collection</a> won a Welcome award while <a href="https://www.sheringhammuseum.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sheringham Museum</a> received a Hidden Gem award.
