Perfecting your cross stitch, learning how to crochet and repurposing old clothes and the like has certainly got a whole lot easier since The Little School of Needlecraft opened its doors. This smart, welcoming and creative space is THE place to dip your thread into the wonderful world of needlework, because let’s face it, we’ve all thought about it after watching an episode of The Great British Sewing Bee!

Like all good sewing projects, The Little School of Needlecraft started on founder Jolanda Rocklin’s kitchen table, and it has quite literally unspooled from there. She now has a superb roster of crafty classes and workshops to choose from and an absolutely divine space to stitch-in guaranteed to get all your creative juices flowing. During the colder months you’ll darn in a cool, collaborative studio space adorned with finished pieces, colour charts, fabric swatches and thread. While come the summer, it’s out into the beautiful garden where flowers and nature will definitely play a big role in your creations.

Found in the picture perfect village of North Creake in North West Norfolk, you are spoilt for choice with the classes that Jolanda and her special guest tutors provide. We’re talking everything from knitting, crochet and hand embroidery to machine sewing, fabric dyeing and beading – and that’s not even the half of it! With a focus on sustainability, Jolanda and team will even teach you how to reuse, recycle and repurpose your own clothing, to create something totally unique you’ll continue to wear for years to come. Whether you are a seasoned stitcher or don’t know one end of a crochet hook from another, all abilities are welcome, there’s even classes for children too. All materials are provided for you, along with lunch and refreshments if your class is for the full day or weekend.  The school is even available for special events like hen parties where you and your gals can embroider pjs or jackets for the big day and be the coolest bride squad around.
