The 300 capacity Edwardian theatre has been delighting Norfolk locals and visitors to the East Coast of the county for over 100 years. Whether it’s the cool cabaret style tables (with drink service we might add!), the rolling roster of superb shows or the busy schedule of community events with everything from regular markets and coffee mornings scheduled, the Pavilion Theatre is always THE place to be.

Found in the harbour mouth, right next to the beach, the Pavilion Theatre is a registered charity with a real focus on engaging the community in the arts – a worthy cause more than ever nowadays! With its adult am dram troupe, The Pavilion Players, bringing together people of all ages and its Pavilion Players Stage School for youngsters aged 4-18, a visit here really champions the arts and the performers of tomorrow.

Aside from an exciting programme of visiting artists all year round, showing everything from theatre and comedy to music, dance and pretty much everything in between, the Pavilion Theatre also has a few regular productions which it has become known for. Its annual panto (this year is Cinderella and looks a hoot!) and its summer long variety show which really draws in the crowds.

And that’s not all, right next door to the theatre is the iconic Bandstand which offers a laid-back outdoor setting for concerts, festivals, and community events. Come rain or shine it’s a perfect place to enjoy free outdoor music or take in a seasonal event.
