Congham Hall Hotel and Spa

Muddy says: You don’t need to leave Norfolk to find a five star spa experience. Congham Hall Hotel is one of my favourite luxury spa hotels – oozing both style and sophistication!

white stately home Congham hall

A multi award winning hotel based just outside Kings Lynn in West Norfolk, (the most accessible side of the county for those visiting the area) and a great base from which to explore the North Norfolk coastline.

Surrounded by mature trees, gardens and 30 acres of beautiful countryside, this privately owned 26 bed Georgian manor house is a real haven for relaxation.

Balancing stately decadence with an intimate homely atmosphere, there’s plenty of spaces to enjoy  from the beautiful gardens and the state of the art spa to the elegant lounges and the fine dine 2 AA rosette restaurant. In the colder months, head to the smaller lounge and cosy up in front of a roaring fire with a good book and a bottle of wine.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the large conservatory room which is light and airy with great views across the terrace and gardens. If you’re looking for a little private dining, The Writing Room is rather plush and is available for exclusive hire. The bar is bijou and has a nice buzzy vibe, perfect for pre and post dinner drinks.
The hotel has 26 individual stylish bedrooms split between the main house and the spa garden area. Ranging from Standard, Good, Better and Best, there are two suites and some interconnecting rooms available for families.
If you do find time to venture off site, this is a great base for exploring the Norfolk Norfolk coast plus an abundance of Halls – Holkham, Oxburgh and Houghton and Sandringham Estates are all within a stone’s throw!
