Lovingly, tastefully and sustainably restored, the decor and furnishings – which you can buy – look like they have sprung straight from the pages of a glossy mag. We’re talking interesting art, gorgeous rugs, antique dressers and so many books, scatter cushions and one-off nick-nacks – we want it all. Yet everything is in keeping with the rustic barn charm – hello exposed brick, vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Aside from these to die for interiors, Barn Drift has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic group stay away: wifi throughout, several indoor and outside spaces to entertain, board games, table tennis, croquet set and two TVs for entertainment, plus a dishwasher and laundry facilities if the washing just can’t wait until you get home.

If the stunning barn wasn’t enough there is also a converted aircraft Hanger within the grounds available for use too. And when we say it has been lovingly kitted out, we are not joking! The open-plan space comes equipped with an AGA (yes, really), Butler sink, long trestle tables, high speed internet and a loo while you’ll find cute contained showers outside. It’s open-plan space make it ideal for parties, private dining, meet-ups, work events, wine tasting, yoga, exhibitions, art classes – the possibilities are endless.

Brides to be take note, Barn Drift has been licensed for official ceremonies since 2009 so you can have your entire wedding here. And with so much space to play with you can have you your day, your way – ceremony in the garden, meal in the Barn, party in the Hanger, we’re already envisioning the stunning wedding snaps. The surrounding grounds are big enough for bell tents and for camping if you’ve got lots of guests coming and with no one else for miles around noise isn’t a problem either, party people.
