<p>We have long since lusted over the peonies from Erpingham House Farm (their <a href="https://www.erpinghamfarm.co.uk/product-page/peony-subscription" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">subscription</a> service is well worth it btw) so we are very excited that this year, for the first time <em>ever</em>, you will be able to PYO. For one weekend, and one weekend only (<strong>Sat 30 &amp; Sun 31 May</strong>), you will be able to fill your buckets with as many peonies as you fancy. Buckets proved but best bring your own secateurs. <p>Brush up on your peonies and pansies in a morning learning about all things floral before cutting your own bucketful of blooms at this North Norfolk treasure. The <a href="https://www.forevergreenflowerco.co.uk/floral-workshops" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Floral Field Sessions</a> (£50 per session) run from 10am to 1230pm on the following Saturdays throughout the summer: <strong>13 Jun, 11 Jul, 8 Aug, 5 Sep and 8 Aug</strong>. Just make sure to bring a bucket with you! <p>Pick your own beautiful bouquet while supporting this fantastic social enterprise on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Collect your picking kit (complete with container and secateurs) from the farm shop which stocks all their own produce, including veg, meat, eggs and apple juice. Flowers are mostly grown from seed and cuttings, and are unsprayed. Fill your arms with a heady mix of classic, nostalgic and unusual varieties, including penstemons, scabiosa, monarda, sweet peas, gaura, hydrangea, cornflowers, cosmos and lady&#8217;s mantle. Open Mon to Sat, 10am-4pm for PYO from Sat 23 May through to November. <p>Alright, you might not be able to pick-your-own at Norfolk Flower Farm, but you can pre-order freshly cut bunches to collect from the flower field between April and November, and we think that’s more than good enough. New this summer are dahlia and peony pop-up shops which will open when these flowers are blooming in abundance (keep an eye on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/norfolkflowerfarm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Facebook</a> or <a href="https://www.instagram.com/norfolkflowerfarm/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a> for dates).</p>

<p>One for the diary as the opening dates for 2026 are still TBC, but as well as a stonking great maize maze to keep the kids entertained, Pulham Patch has a stunning wildflower meadow growing alongside it with sixteen different flower varieties there for the picking. We&#8217;re talking sunflowers, sunbow zinnia, cosmos and godetia to name a few. Best to bring your own secateurs, and bunches are priced at £5 for small, £10 for medium and £15 for a larger bunch </p>

<p>And bookmark this one for sunflower season. For roughly two weeks of the summer, the fields at Westgate Farm burst into bloom, and visitors are able to wander the sunflower trail and PYO.
