<p>With a double AA Rosette tucked under their belt, <a href="https://norfolk.muddystilettos.co.uk/eat-out/pubs-inns/muddy-stays-the-kings-head-inn-brooke/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Kings Head Inn</a> is a countryside gem. The <a href="https://www.kingsheadbrooke.co.uk/menu" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">set menu</a> is available for lunch or dinner offering a tempting selection of dishes at purse-friendly prices &#8211; £23 for two courses and £29 for three. It&#8217;s seasonal with a capital S, with the super-fresh ingredients harvested twice a day from its nearby farm, including the vegetables, herbs, edible blooms and succulent rare-breed beef, pork and lamb.</p>

<p>Central city restaurant <strong>Roger Hickman&#8217;s</strong> is a swish place for a lunch break after a day pounding the pavements of Norwich. Fine dining it is, with a focus on modern, British cuisine, but it&#8217;s relaxed enough for a lunch date, exuding the kind of low-key elegance that has Muddy written all over it. The <a href="https://www.rogerhickmansrestaurant.com/menus/lunch-menu/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">à la carte lunch menu</a> is available daily for £32 for two-courses and £39 for three, meaning you&#8217;ll have money left over for that new pair of shoes you were eyeing up!</p>

<p>Cosy local pub vibes with a fine dining experience is a tough act to balance but this double AA Rosette restaurant with its large foodie fanbase manages it with aplomb. Set within the Broads National Park, the <strong>Kings Arms</strong> is a lovely lunch spot after a bracing coastal walk. The proximity to the sea means fresh fish daily (Sheringham lobster, Cromer crab and King&#8217;s Lynn shrimps) along with a host of other locally sourced ingredients. Dine for £25 for two-courses and £30 for three from the <a href="https://kingsarmsfleggburgh.com/set-lunch-menu" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">set lunch menu</a>, available Mon to Sat, with a separate set menu for <a href="https://kingsarmsfleggburgh.com/sunday-lunch-menu" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sunday lunches</a> at £28 for two-courses and £36 for three. </p>

<p>Minutes from the coast, this triple AA rosette restaurant and hotel comes Michelin (and Muddy) recommended. The menu is brilliantly local and seasonal, with a lot of ingredients hand selected before hitting your plate, and the heritage setting is almost as show-stopping as the food. Their <a href="https://www.theinghamswan.co.uk/du-jour-menu" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">set Menu Du Jour</a> is available for both lunch and dinner from Mon-Sun. Two courses for £28 and three for £34. We love the little touches like their homemade Norfolk Crunch Bread, Butter and Hummus.</p>

Happily, its big sister restaurant, also listed in the Michelin Guide, is offering a <a href="https://www.stokemill.co.uk/menus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Seasonal Du Jour menu</a> from Wed to Sat for lunch and Wed to Fri for dinner at £29.50 for two courses and £35 for three. Like your food with a side of history? This renovated mill is the original home of Norfolk&#8217;s iconic Colman&#8217;s Mustard.</p>

The privately owned Georgian Manor with its 30 acres of sweeping parklands and gorgeous gardens provides a pretty special setting for lunch. <a href="https://www.conghamhallhotel.co.uk/lunch-at-congham/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Midweek set lunches</a> are £25 for two-courses and £28 for three where you&#8217;ll choose from a delicious menu featuring locally sourced, seasonal produce including hand-picked herbs and vegetables from their very own garden.</p>
