Roll up Roll up – Interlude at Chapelfield Gardens
A fabulous six-week programme of live performances, participatory activities and comedy!
Hoorah for the creative minds at Norwich Theatre and Lost in Translation Circus for bringing us ‘Interlude’ – a six week programme of comedians, live performances and circus acts. All COVID friendly courtesy of Marybelle The Big Top and new temporary home of The Arts in Norwich.
For those of you reeling from the loss of the N&N Festival this year, the Chapelfield Gardens vibe is very similar with its outdoor bar, colourful flags and twinkly lights.
The Muddy famalam popped along for an afternoon of circus treats, which at an hour long was perfectly pitched for toddlers to teens. It was a little raw but in a simple non-contrived way. Think audition rounds of Britain’s Got Talent – no smoke and mirrors, dramatic lighting or fancy costumes – just pure acrobatic skills from a talented bunch of Lost in Translation students. I’m told the evening performances are a little more risqué and scandalous and with only two nights left, be assured this is a good value, COVID friendly night out.
From now until Sun 20 September you can catch a whole host of big names from Ruby Wax to Jimmy Carr plus lots more Lost in Translation circus magic.
I urge you to support our local theatre and pop along to this wonderfully creative ‘Interlude’ – for the full listing click here.
