Ding Dong - wedding show season has started and bridalmania is upon us. Here are 12 of our favourite wedding fairs and open days from across from the county. 

 

Norfolk’s Creative Wedding Fair – Festival Edit, Octagon Barn, Little Plumstead, Sun 9th February, 11 – 3pm 

This is the Octagon Barn’s first wedding fair and it looks to be one of the most creative with their festival theme. Expect colourful styling, street foods, teepees and more!

Wedding Fair, Voewood, Sun 23rd February, 11 – 3pm 

Voewood is all the laid back rock ‘n’ roll glamour and this is your chance to have a peek behind the scenes at this uber cool and quirky party property. Chat to the Little Lending Co for styling advice, Floral Sista’s for floral inspiration and many more super cool wedding suppliers.

Valentine Wedding Open Day, Bressingham Hall & High Barns, Sun 23rd February, 11- 3pm 

Bressingham Hall & High Barn is a beautiful wedding venue located on the Norfolk / Suffolk border. Perfect for all those Valentine’s newly engaged couples who want to get straight on with the wedding planning.  This is a chance to explore the 17 acres of gardens that are home to their contemporary barn, marquee, and Georgian mansion house.

Norfolk’s Creative Wedding Fair, Waxham Barn: Industrial Romance, Sun 1st March, 11 – 3pm 

Featuring an eclectic mix of wedding creatives this is the one for those who like to be a little bit different. Industrial Romance is the theme so expect festoon lighting, neons, boho styling, colour and fun!

How to plan your wedding, Briarfields, Titchwell, Sun 29th March, 3pm  

If you’re looking for a North Norfolk wedding, pop to Briarfields to meet local suppliers and try the head chef’s creative wedding menu of canapés and desserts. There will be talks and demo’s from stylists, florists and photographers throughout the day. Prosecco and canapés on arrival!

Most Curious Wedding Show, The Fire Pit Camp, Wendling, Sun 29th March, 10.30 – 3pm

Definitely for the style savvy couple – The Fire Pit Camp will be showcasing lots of fresh talent plus the most innovative and established names in the wedding industry. This is a nice sized show with 60+ exhibitors, live music, food fest, catwalks, stylish installations and bar!

Wedding Fair, Royal Assembly Rooms, Great Yarmouth, Sun 19th April, 11 – 3pm

Great for those living on the East Coast plus you’ll get to marvel at the beautiful interiors of the Royal Assembly Rooms (licensed for weddings). Lots of local wedding industry suppliers sharing top tips on wedding planning.

The Most Unusual Wedding Fair, Godwick Hall & Great Barn, Tittleshall, Sun 8th November, 11 – 3pm

This is a wedding fair like no other and is popular, so keep an eye out for more details on registering. Gorgeous location with
live music, demonstrations and a wide variety of quirky suppliers. Think rustic, whimsical, vintage, boho, festival… and Unusual!

Norfolk Wedding Fayre, Hockwold Hall, Sun 26th January, 11 – 3pm

The Largest independent wedding Fayre in East Anglia, the former Royal Residence will be home to over 100 exhibitors. Perfectly located on the borders of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire – it’s a great location for brides from all neighbouring counties.

Open Event, Pentney Abbey, Sun 26th January, 11 – 3pm

Over in West Norfolk this truly magical venue is opening its doors for you to have a nose around, chat to their wedding planners, meet some of their favourite suppliers and sample some delicious food and drink. They offer several options for the service and it’s well worth a peek if you’re looking for a heady mix of historical elegance and contemporary style!

Weddings and Parties Open Day, The Dialhouse, Sat 1st February, 10- 3pm

Take a tour, try some yummy wedding food and start imagining yourself in a fancy frock. The Dialhouse is a fab, quirky venue  and top of my list of slightly alternative places to celebrate your nuptuals.

Kimberly Hall Wedding Fair, nr Wymondham, Sun 2nd February, 10 – 3pm

This stunning venue in the heart of Norfolk is back and with 45 exhibitors, it’s not too overwhelming if you’re just starting out on the wedding fair circuit! Complimentary glass of Adnams Prosecco & bridal goody bag on arrival.
