Hosted by Children’s TV Presenter Andy Day, the Dippy Splash Zone will open at 12pm with events during the day, including live performances of Andy’s Dino Raps Show at 1.30pm and 3.30pm, Dippy The Mascot roaming the park from 11am, face painting from 11am until 4.30pm and an all-day photo board.

Weds 1 – Sun 5 June Wing it Week, Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden
Suitable for children of all ages, Fairhaven will be inviting visitors to find all things fluttery in the woodland garden using spotter sheets this half term. On 1 June, create a Green Man Tree face using clay and natural materials, while Sunday 5 June sees the opening of guided canoe trails – uncover the secret of the hidden waterways and get close to nature with a friendly, qualified guide.

Sun 5 June Open Farm Sunday
Part of an annual, national event, Open Farm Sunday takes place on 5 June this year – the only day of the year when farmers and producers open their farm gates to the public. During the day, children will learn how our food is grown and produced using modern farming. Activities range from farm walks and trailer rides through to sheep shearing, milk demonstrations, bug hunts and machine displays.
