Fritton Lake’s popular Outdoor Cinema nights are back with three different films: The Greatest Showman, Pulp Fiction and Forrest Gump. Relax beneath the stars with a glass of wine and enjoy. Make sure you arrive early to secure your front-row seat!

Ferryfest, The Reedham Ferry, Norwich, Friday 7th – Sunday 9th September

Ferryfest has a reputation around these parts for the quality of its music, and this year’s line-up looks to be no exception. Camping pitches are available too, so rock up and chill out and enjoy the stunning Broads location and the entertainment from local favourites such as the Shackleton Trio.

Book tickets from £5 for a day ticket to £45 for a full weekend and camping pass.


Wine & Cheese Festival, The Open, Norwich, Saturday 8th September

Wine and cheese are two of our favourite things here at Muddy and if you’re anything like us, the thought of over 100 different wines, plus cheeses and chutneys, makes us all a-quiver. Wines will be grouped by price and tasting notes are included.

Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival, Saturday 8th September & Sunday 9th September

Ahoy there, shipmates! Great Yarmouth’s South Quay will once again play host to its famous Maritime Festival, with street entertainment, demonstrations, shanty music and of course, ships!

This is a free event so no tickets are necessary. Just don your best pirate hat and come along. Jolly Rogers at the ready!


Catton Park Fun Day, Norwich, Sunday 9th September  

The annual Catton Park Fun Day has something for all the family – and the family dog too! With free entertainment throughout the day, pack up a picnic and head on down.

It’s free admission and there’s free onsite parking too.


Miss Saigon, Norwich Theatre Royal, Wed 15 August – Sun 15 September

Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of the legendary musical MISS SAIGON is embarking on a major UK Tour and coming to Norwich for a whole month!

This beautiful story is set in the last days of the Vietnam War, where 17 year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as the Engineer. There she meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For 3 years Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he’s fathered a son.
