The Snail And The Whale has been lovingly adapted from the children’s book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and is the heartwarming story of the adventures of two very unlikely friends. This show has the feelgood factor for all the family!

Figs In Wigs Presents Often On Stage, Norwich Arts Centre, Weds 28th November

Figs In Wigs are mean, green, laugh-a-minute machines, and this time they’re exploring the world of the stage through dance, choreography and some serious hair issues. Bonkers fun.

The man who put the ‘oooooo!’ into Doctor Who comes to Norfolk as part of the Norwich Film Festival and will be holding a Q&A session at OPEN. Ideal for Doctor fans, film buffs and anyone with an appreciation of a good set of chiselled cheekbones, so if you can stop staring for long enough to form a sentence, reserve your place now.

Wymondham College Winter Fayre, Wymondham College,  Sat 10th November  

Wymondham College’s eighth annual Winter Fayre will be packed to the rafters with over 50 award-winning craft and gift stalls, and with family fun and entertainment from the Yarnsmith Of Norfolk, there’ll be something for everyone to see. Now, can someone point us in the direction of the cake stalls…?

Entry is £1 for adults and free for children and students

 

The Norfolk Festive Gift & Food Show, The Norfolk Showground, Sat 10th – Sun 11th November 

The Norfolk Festive Gift & Food Show promises to be the biggest festive show in the area – and with 250 exhibitors, we’re sure they’re not wrong! We’re not quite sure how to start listing everything that’s on offer at the show, as there’s simply so much to do, so the best thing is to turn up and see for yourselves!

Holt Christmas Lights, Holt Town Centre, Weds 14th November  

If you’re in the mood for some festive sparkle, head up to the coast to see the Holt Christmas Lights – the town has never looked more beautiful and it’s a wonderful excuse for a little bit of shopping too. A present for them, a present for us. That’s how it goes, isn’t it?

Click! The Norwich Christmas Switch-On will see entertainment across the city and in front of City Hall when the Christmas lights are officially turned on. Watch out for a programme of events nearer the time – after all, you don’t want to miss the visit from Father Christmas…

The Hoste Arms is one of Muddy’s favourite destinations and they’re holding an evening of fabulous music from the Freddie Hall Band with a three-course dinner available too! The Sandringham Christmas Craft, Food & Gift Fair, Sandringham, Fri 16th – Sun 18th November  

Living Heritage Craft Fairs presents a sparkly winter wonderland in the middle of the Sandringham estate, so if you want to get ahead with your Christmas shopping, pop along to browse over three hundred stalls packed with crafty and nibbly gifts! There’ll be live music and top chefs will be sharing their recipes – and who knows? Santa may even make an appearance too…
