James Acaster: Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999, The Playhouse, Norwich, Mon 2nd – Weds 4th December
James Acaster’s is coming to the Norwich Playhouse this month, but hurry as tickets are selling fast! Thinking a lot about how 1999 was the best year of his life and about how much he hates himself sometimes – it’s a hilarious evening as you join James on his chaotic thought process.

Sharing their love of cheese & wine, The White Horse will be giving guests the opportunity to nibble on a range of local delights, plus listen to a talk from Bancroft wines.

Christmas Pop-up Shop, Norfolk Creative Arts, Grimston, Weds 4th – Mon 16th December
Pop up ceramics, jewellery, homeware, decorations, paintings, prints from across the Eastern Region. Free parking!
Rock and Roll Bingo, The Lodge, Old Hunstanton, Fri 6th December
Fancy a christmas party with a twist – this sounds like a fun alternative to the usual meal and disco. Grab your bingo card and dabber and listen out for the songs being played and mark them off as you hear ’em!

Northern Soul Street Food & Cocktails AND Wreath Workshop, The Fire Pit Camp, Wendling, Fri 6th & Sat 7th December
Two great Christmassy events at the gorgeous Fire Pit. Libby Pryer from Niche Flowers is hosting two Wreath Making Classes. The Friday workshop is in the evening with festive cocktails followed by DJ Steve Greensides’ Northern Soul Night plus street food by Heart Street Vegan. Saturdays wreath workshop is a little more chilled with brunch and festive treats.

Curious Cinema, St-Martin-at-Palace-Plain, Norwich, Sat 7th December
Curious Cinema has given St Martins Church a Dr. Seuss style makeover and turned it into Whoville for a Christmas cinema screening of The Grinch. Plus Curious Cocktails for the adults – sounds awesome!

Oh we love a bit of Micky Bubbles – and this stripped down, acoustic performance of Michael Bublé classics sounds fabulous. The performance will take place in their beautifully decorated Music Room and there’s a pre-show dinner if you’d like to make an evening of it!

It’s a bit of a tradition in the Muddy household to chill out at the cinema with a movie on Christmas Eve. So many great movies to choose from but Little Women, Frozen 2, Last Christmas and Cats are on my family hit list.

Brrrrrr – snap out of that turkey and booze haze with a refreshing dip on Cromer beach! This year’s event will be raising funds for MIND (Norwich and Central Norfolk) so feel virtious whilst you freeze your bits off!
