The 6 funniest people on social media

Fancy a giggle? These Instagram and Twitter accounts are happy to oblige.

Social media has gone into TikTok and real time stories overdrive!!! However, there are a few social media accounts that never fail to make us smile and let’s face it, we could all do with a bit of a giggle right now!

Tova Leigh on Instagram, FaceBook and TikTok

Possibly my favourite person on social right now. For any 40+ women, she sums up life perfectly. Hilarious and satirical her TikTok videos, Tova News updates and commentary on the current COVID 19 situation are cheering me up immensely. Her Book ‘F***ed at 40: Life beyond Suburbia, Monogamy and Stretch Marks – is also an identifying read.

Classic Pics on Twitter

Simple but deadly. This account takes a photo of celebrities and wrongly captions it, mistakenly (on purpose) ID-ing them as celebs who look vaguely similar. For added laughs, the comments are full of people correcting them.

 James Blunt on Twitter

Yes, really, the posho singer of You’re Beautiful is a bonafide comedy genius. No one does self deprecation better.

Raven Smith on Instagram

Vogue editors aren’t generally known for being hilarious but this guy is an exception. He’s the caption king of Insta, always topical and always in caps.

Celeste Barber on Instagram

The Aussie comedian skewers models’ ridiculous Instagram posts and multi-million pound fashion campaigns with her brilliant parodies. They usually involve her in a bikini.

Cookie Crumbles on Instagram

I had to throw in one local lass – Cookie Crumbles’ stories always make me smile. Life of a Norfolk mum, might on the surface seem a bit dull but her approach and humour make for addictive viewing. Plus her chaotic approach comforts me as I also fudge, fumble and occasionally f*** up the work/life balance. Ps. if you need a bit of an uplift – join her Friday night themed dance sessions – brilliant.
