Muddy says: Voewood is laid back rock ‘n’ roll glamour. Classic arts & crafts cleverly mixed with retro, vintage, colonial and modern pieces which make for an eclectic yet homely feel at this exclusive hire property that sleeps 42 people.
If you fancy impressing everyone you know with a fabulously trendy stay away, look no further than the utterly unique Voewood. Imagine Kate Moss with her buddies on a country jaunt and you’ll get the gist.
Built in 1903, this stunning arts & crafts house is nestled in 11 acres of carefully designed magical gardens and wild woodlands on the North Norfolk coast and is perfect for parties, corporate retreats and weddings.
Exclusive hire only (trust us, you won’t want to share this uber cool party property), Voewood sleeps up to 42 guests in 17 bedrooms – each with their own individual design that will both delight and surprise. Owned by the super-cool rare book dealer Simon Finch, the house is decorated in Simon’s unique style, blending period and modern pieces throughout. Amazing art and photography adorns the walls in every room, and I’ll simply let the pictures do the talking for this property.
The Banqueting Hall can seat up to 120 (check out that neon pink Voewood sign – LOVE) and there’s plenty of room for dancing. Did I mention the red games room/library, conference room/yoga space, large country kitchen with double Aga?
Plus the North Norfolk beaches are just minutes away and you’re spoilt for choice with many of the county’s top pubs and restaurants nearby, check our Eating Out section. If you’re feeling decadent – which I promise you will after one night in this gorgeous property, why not hire a local private chef to cater for you? Yep, Voewood can help with that, too.
