Best for large groups – The Cattle Shed, Wighton, North Norfolk Coast
Sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms, 2 pets allowed
Is this the most beautiful barn conversion in North Norfolk? I’m struggling right now to suggest another to be honest! A former cow-shed (hence the name), this brand-new property has been lovingly converted to provide chic, high-end accommodation with only a few clues to its previous life, such as the cow pictures that adorn the walls, farmhouse table and exposed brick and timbers throughout. The living area is light, airy and spacious, with comfy sofas for all. The ‘DeVol’ kitchen with Oroco work-tops reflect the high quality of fixtures and fittings throughout.
Kids will love the bunk room, with four bespoke fitted beds – perfect for midnight chats (feasts). Outside, there’s a fully enclosed courtyard garden, seating area with table, chairs and barbecue for al-fresco dining. The area is totally secure for families with potential escapee pets and children.
Surrounded by coastline you won’t be short of things to do – Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are two of our favourite beaches. Blakeney is a short drive where you can try a spot of crabbing or take a boat trip and visit the grey seal colony. Check out our What’s On and Fun Finder for the best places to Eat, Drink and Play in the area.
