The Three Horseshoes, Warham
Step back in time into this charming village local which is bursting with character. Pièce de résistance – their pies are amazing!
Set in the beautiful village of Warham, just south of busy seaside town Wells-next-the-sea – The Three Horseshoes is very much a family run village pub.
There’s a real community feel to the place (not too much that everyone stops and stares when you walk in) but you get the sense that the pub hasn’t changed much over the years and “that’s the way we like it.”
The interiors are simple and comfortable – lovers of super-contemporary design might not be fans but the log fire, low ceiling and general prettiness will please those appreciative of the traditional. Absolutely bursting with character and old memorabilia including the original hatch bar, it’s truly like stepping back in time.
A really relaxed, friendly, cosy indoor option for families and friends, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. There’s also a pretty patio area and large garden with outside bar for al fresco dining in the summer.
Unfussy but good pub grub is on the menu and their speciality pies are not to be missed! The pub also offers B&B for those looking to extend their visit.
We’ve bagged our Muddy readers a lovely little discount on dinner, bed and breakfast packages. You can stay at the Horseshoes in a standard room for £120 or deluxe double for £130. Prices are per room and offer runs until the end of February 2019 (excluding 21 December – 4 Jan). All you need to do is email using the code MUDDY to make your booking.
Lots to do in the surrounding area – the Iron Age fort at Warham Camp, Walsingham Abbey, Stiffkey Salt Marshes and pop into Mrs Temple’s in Wighton for the famous Binham Blue cheese.
