Rooftop Gardens, Norwich
The only rooftop bar in Norwich with stunning 360 panoramic views over the Fine City's skyline. Varied contemporary menu, perfect for sunset cocktails.
The Norwich skyline is a charming one, still dominated by cathedral towers, church spires and the Norman castle, so we love the amazing view from the Rooftop Gardens, the city’s first and (currently) only rooftop bar and restaurant. Who wouldn’t want to eat with stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the Fine City?!
This unique urban crow’s nest has a stylish modern menu and vibrant bar. It’s all going on here – from slap up Sunday lunches with the family, elegant afternoon tea or just rock straight into the cocktails. And if you’re suddenly peckish (er…like, always) order a few small plates (great value at 3 for £14) and watch the city lights make the night magical.
It’s a 5-minute saunter from the train station, 10 from the bus and near the city centre car parks, if you’ve bribed some saintly friend to be tonight’s designated driver.
Sitting proudly on the top floor of The Union Building on Rose Lane contrasting with the former Aviva building’s 1970s Brutalist architecture the building is a thriving office during the day and when evening falls…urbanites can just pop upstairs to kick back in style.
No better place for a city centre sundowner…cheers!
