Richard Hughes Cookery School
Looking to brush up on your chef skills? Then try a masterclass at this brilliant Norwich cookery school.
Whether you love or loathe cooking, go along to one of the Richard Hughes cookery classes and you’re bound to have fun. Run in the state-of-the-art fully equipped bespoke kitchens at Norwich’s Assembly House, the school offers culinery know-how from Richard and a range of top-class tutors including UK Chocolate Ambassador, Gary Hunter, gluten-free expert Steve Thorpe, and the Assembly House’s own Master pâtissier Mark Mitson and pro cake decorator Laura Grix.
If you fancy a more leisurely approach to your cookery class then why not try a Masterclass Lunch. This includes a cookery demo from Richard, while sampling tasty delights, followed by lunch with wine and coffee. Recipes are given out so you can repeat/destroy it all again at home.
The kids can get involved too, drop them off for two hours of jolly italian baking where they’ll get to know a few of the tricks and techniques used by the professionals. The class includes italian treats such as biscotti and lemon polenta cake – scrummy.
Courses range from french classics, kids baking to creating your own indian takeaway.
Make a night of it and stay over in one of the gorgeous Georgian bedrooms all designed by local interiors goddess Annabel Grey. You can have this luxurious stunner for only £160 per night if you book in to the cookery school.
