Dawn Rees Ceremonies
If I were ever to get married again, I'd want Humanist Celebrant Dawn Rees to be holding my hand (metorphorically) at the altar!
Weddings, renewals, naming ceremonies – whatever the occasion, a shift in expectation and convention has given us the freedom to be different. Did you know that not all ceremonies have to refer to religion and not all non-religious ceremonies have to be taken by a Registrar! Instead, choosing a Humanist celebrant offers you an infinitely flexible approach that gives you loads of choices and means you can choose a ceremony that reflects you and how you live your life!
Fun, energetic, warm and a little bit quirky – Dawn’s personal approach starts well before the ceremony with 1-1 sessions (phone, Skype or in person) to make sure all your ideas and desires are central to the occasion. Not a template in site, Dawn can coach you on writing your own vows and works alongside you to choreograph the whole ceremony. With a Registrar you are constrained by time, distance, venue. With Dawn as your Humanist celebrant, no distance is too far and if you’d like it, she offers a run-through the day before the ceremony which gives you complete control of the process and means you can wake up in the morning with not a glimmer of a worry about the ceremony. Because she’s got your back!
Whatever the setting, big/small, formal/informal, indoors/outdoors – Dawn will work with the environment to tell your story as a couple, family and community – ensuring a magical day for all.
As a Mum, grandma and partner – Dawn’s love of people, travel and adventure is apparent from the moment you meet her. A combination of life changing events led to a change in career direction from Director level roles in the Public Sector to Business Consultant, Executive Coach and Humanist Celebrant. We love these empowering career changing stories and I’ve met many women who have taken control, switched things up and are now leading happier, more fulfilled lives.
A good listener, a thought explorer, a dream weaver, a writer and a performer – these are all key prerequisites for a brilliant celebrant and Dawn has them by the bucket load!
