Briarfields, Titchwell

Muddy says: A beautiful family friendly hotel in North Norfolk with stylish bedrooms, several dining areas and a menu bursting with local delights.

Situated on the coast road in the pretty village of Titchwell, this traditional Norfolk stone clad hotel offers standard, superior and deluxe accommodation. All the rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and include flat screen televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. They have family rooms that can easily sleep up to five people – getting a big muddy tick from me as a mum of three!

The rooms are divided between the main building and the courtyard/garden area – ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine and enjoying the last few hours of sun. A selection of rooms have their own parking bays outside the sliding patio doors, which is great for guests with dogs or mobility issues.

Kids are catered for brilliantly – plenty of green spaces, board games and a wooden play area which is far away enough for them to be seen but not heard.

This hotel has lots of lovely areas to eat, drink and relax. Choose from the comfy sofas and wood burner area; the snug room with large fireplace and high back armchairs; booth seating around the main bar; lounge room with leather sofas and the large airy dining room with the most magnificent views of the surrounding country side and sea. With a room to fit any occasion, Briafields is a great location for a romantic meal, family dining, group get togethers and maybe even a wedding!

In the summer the large decking comes into it’s own. Take in the endless blue skies and views over the salt marshes while you enjoy the extensive menu or an Afternoon Tea!

Lots to do locally – sailing, canoeing, cycling and of course miles of coast line to explore. RSPB Titchwell is just down the road for any budding bird watchers and there are four golf courses within easy driving distance.

It’s also worth checking out the hotel’s event page for literary festivals, dining experiences, car rallies and wedding  fairs.
