Don your red suit and hat for the EACH Santa fun run. There’s a 2km Santa run/walk/jog for all the family or for serious Santas – a 5km chip timed run.
Holkham Hall Candle Light Tour, Holkham, until Wed 18th December

Start your visit with the sparkly tree-lined driveway before stepping inside the house to explore the rooms in all their festive splendour. Pensthorpe Natural Park – A Winter’s Tail, Sat 14th December – Sun 5th January 2020
Aww cute – learn about the animals that tuck themselves away for a long winters sleep or decide to migrate to a warmer climate. There’ll be a nature trail dotted around the reserve and children will be able to create their very own wintry craft to take home. Plus on 12th & 19th December – late night shopping events with lots of lovely home-ware to locally produced spirits.

Winter Wonderland, Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden, December
Follow the Christmas Bauble Trail through the winter woodland and on Sat 14th December visit Father Christmas and his reindeer tucked away among the trees. There will be live music, craft stalls, illuminations and an Elves’ Workshop with Christmas crafts to keep the children busy. Seasonal food in the tearoom and marquee.

Santa’s Magical Journey at Thursford Steam Museum, until Mon 23rd December
A magical winter wonderland (one of the best) – walk past the animatronic penguins and polar bears to see the giant sized teddy bears ready to load Santa’s sleigh. Next – the busy elves hard at work in the toy factory working the wonderful wrapping machine. Meet the Snowman family but watch out for the snowballs before you make your way through the magical forest to Santa’s House to meet the man himself.

Bure Valley Railway Santa train, Wroxham, until Tues 24th December
We love a themed railway in Norfolk – this one runs from Wroxham to Santa’s grotto in Alysham and back (approx 3 hours). The station is dressed beautifully in twinkling lights and they’ll be entertainment and festive refreshments for all the family.

The Snowman and the Snowdog Bricklive Tour, Banham Zoo, until Sun 5th Janaury 2020
The Snowman and The Snowdog brick trail is inspired by the much-loved animated film and consists of 16 brick models. On selected dates, Father Christmas will also be making a special appearance in his brand new workshop.
