Christmas wreath making workshops in Norfolk

There's nothing like a wreath-making workshop to get into the festive mood. And before you say it's too early, they're selling out already, sweetie! Get your tickets now for these crackers.

Whether it’s the chance to get artsy and crafty, the unmissable Instagram boasting opportunities or the free mulled wine while you beaver away with twigs and foliage, you lot are certainly mad about making them.

As such, there’s loads of workshops springing up in the weeks ahead – but be quick, they’re selling like hot mince pies. If we’ve missed any good ones that still have availability, just let us know in the comments box below and we’ll add them to the list.

The Goat Shed, Honingham, 16 Nov – 7 Dec

This outdoor workshop is run by the lovely Michaela and takes place in the farm shop’s covered canopy area (so make sure to wrap up in hat, scarf and prickle-proof gloves!). Running from 3pm to 6pm, the workshop also includes a pit stop for mince pies and mulled wine. £60 per person

Creake Abbey, Fakenham, 16 Nov – 14 Dec

Constance Rose

Gather some friends and head over to Constance Rose for a private wreath-making workshop for six people. The cost is £85pp (which includes delicious snacks from Creake Abbey Food Hall) and the time choices are 10-1pm, 2-5pm or 6-9pm. Top tip: this makes a great Christmas gift for crafty friends and family.

Jipola, Norwich, 17 Nov – 4 Dec

Jipola Christmas wreath

For a seriously Instagrammable wreath, Norwich florist Jipola offers dried flowers, ferns and feathers in their workshop as well as the traditional foraged pine, spruce and holly. Herbal teas, mulled wine and tasty treats are included too. £50 per person.

Ragged Robin, Wymondham, 27 Nov – 9 Dec

You’ll need to be speedy if you want to book one of these two-hour workshops, as they’re super popular and often sell out. Learn to make your very own Christmas wreath under the expert guidance of the lovely Ragged Robin team, all while enjoying festive treats and a cuppa. Sounds perfect.

Bracken & Twine Flowers, Swanton Morley House, Dereham, 27 Nov and 5 Dec

Bracken and Twine

If you’re as obsessed with scrolling through Katy of Bracken and Twine’s IG feed as we are, then you’ll want to snap up the chance to learn how to make the most beautiful Christmas wreaths on her workshop at Swanton Morley House. £80 per person including festive refreshments.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, Norwich, 27 Nov – 11 Dec

This two-hour workshop teaches you how to make your very own DIY decoration using cuttings from the Fairhaven gardens, under the watchful eye of host Rachael. Make sure to bring your own secateurs and apron! Prices from £25 per person.

The Bressingham Gardens, near Diss, 27 Nov

The Bressingham Gardens

This workshop is perfect for the eco-conscious, as it doesn’t use any florist’s foam or cellophane – it’s all about the natural bounty the gardens provide. You’ll go foraging in the gardens with secateurs in hand for seasonal foliage, berries and cones, and you’ll get hot drinks and biscuits to enjoy while you transform your bounty into a wreath. £75 per person.

Floral Sistas, various venues, 29 Nov – 13 Dec

As well as wreath workshops in their floral studio in Wormegay near King’s Lynn, Floral Sistas (formerly Swaffham and Fakenham Florist) are also holding classes in The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe, The Bank House in King’s Lynn and Swaffham Community Centre. Prices start at £45, and some venues include a festive afternoon tea too – don’t mind if we do!

Romeo and Succulent, Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse, Dereham, 7 Dec

Romeo and Succulent Christmas wreath

Create a natural Christmas wreath using fresh foliage from the Gressenhall grounds with the expert help of the lovely Kim from Romeo and Succulent. You’ll also get a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie to scoff during proceedings – a fitting reward for your hard work, we say. Prices from £40.50 per person.

Daphne and Doreen Flower Studio, Swanton Morley House, Dereham, 11 Dec

This workshop includes a pre-prepped moss base for you to add your own evergreens, berries, and foraged natural elements as well as suitably decadent trimmings to – and there are plenty of refreshments included too. £80 per person.
