Orange Grove Clinic
Muddy Says: I came away from my Orange Grove Clinic experience with a sense that Jackie and her team really cared about me and improving my well being.
As a busy working mum, I find it hard to schedule time for myself. My Mother’s Day Massage gift voucher is pinned to the fridge and taunts me daily. I never seem to be able to prioritise my own well being, something many Muddy readers will identify with. Even when I do, I’m so laden with guilt that I spend most of the massage with a million things running through my head on what I should be doing instead.
Founder, owner, mum and supreme Yogi, Jackie Heffer-Cooke is a very busy lady. In addition to running her two businesses, the Orange Grove Clinic and ZenMuma, she also finds time to support women through her Nourish Networking group and Zen Wonder Women Choir!
The Clinic’s mission is simple – ‘to make happy healthy living easy and uplifting’.
This understanding and care radiates across the clinic’s various offerings – massage, retreats, yoga, nutrition and birthing.
Over the last couple of years, I have been lucky enough to experience quite a few of the Orange Grove Clinic activities including massage, baby yoga, yoga and a one day meditation retreat. All of which have been superb and left me wanting to go back for more.
If you can gift yourself ‘more’ the yoga retreats look amazing. Sardinia had glowing reviews this year and the next one in Thailand is definitely on my ‘something to aim for’ list.
“Anyone want 3 kids for a week in February???”
Complimentary health practices should be incorporated into our daily lives and used as a preventative measure. Very slowly I’m beginning to listen to all this wonderful advice and now spend 10 minutes each day practising simple meditation techniques on a cushion in a quiet corner.
Life can be tiring and stressful, so I’d highly recommend visiting the Orange Grove Clinic’s complementary health team for a calm and fresh approach to your health and wellbeing.
