Lark Cottage

Muddy says: Like what you see? Good, because this view is your garden! That out there to the distance is marshland; the blue stuff you can see at the furthest point is the sea! Got your attention? Thought so

If location really is the holy grail of a great holiday, then Lark Cottage should be smiling all the way to the bank – a grand, three-storey flint house located a stone’s throw (quite literally) from the caramel sands of Titchwell Beach.

Sleeping up to 10 people in four large bedrooms, the house oozes whimsical cottage style, with art deco uplighters, roped curtains and chandeliers providing a backdrop for antique furniture and select pieces of art. There is a family bathroom and two en-suites, while well-behaved dogs are welcome, making this the ideal holiday home for a large family where pooch can come, too.

A snug lounge with squishy sofas, games, books and a large flatscreen is the perfect spot for kicking back after a day on the beach while, the pièce de résistance is the open plan kitchen-cum-diner-cum-conservatory – fling open the patio doors and walk into the immaculate garden to take in the view: marshland, caramel sand, sea (why not head to the master bedroom and take a peak through the telescope?)

The garden has seating for six people, plus a BBQ for dining alfresco, while out front there is sufficient parking on the gravel driveway for three cars.
